Parts of Speech and Sentence Structure Module

This module will provide you links to sources that teach you the basic parts of speech and elements of sentence structure. Each skill contains at minimum a pre-test, a lesson, an exercise, and a post-test, all of which are gathered from online grammar sources. Many of the lessons also contain videos.

If you are doing this module for a class, such as English 100A/104/105, your teacher will review these lessons and exercises with you. You will also need to take a post test for each major section, available in Blackboard.

There is a pre-test with each skill to determine the degree to which you need to work on it. If you get 80% or more right on your pre-test, you may wish to skip directly to the post-test, but it is recommended that you review the lesson first.
