	New Student Center to open in August The new Student Center is scheduled to open early August, according to the LPC administration. The facility will be built between the LRC and Building 1600. The current Student Center will not be demolished. It will be used for other school purposes after the new center opens. Moses Sanchez won the LPC student presidency for 2000-2001 in the ASLPC elections. AIDS Walk Students are now forming an LPC Team to participate in AIDS Walk 2000 on Sunday, July 16 at Golden Gate Park in SF. Contact bethm@home.com or frederickz@hotmail.com
