Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I desperately need to take this class. Registration is full. What
can I do?
A: We do not have materials, microscopes, or space in in the classroom
for more students. Come to the first day of class; there will be a waiting
list to sign. Adds are first by the LPC Waiting List that is on line. After the Waiting List is exhausted (highly unlikely) adds will be by LPC Priority Number.
Q: Can I audit the class?
Q: Do you accept late papers/assignments?
Q: Why not?
A: Because we go over assignments in class once they are submitted.
As a result, it isn't fair to the students who turned their assignments
in on time.
Q: What if I have an emergency?
A: Let me know as soon as possible and we'll discuss whether or not
I'll make an exception.
Q: I'm going skiing on the day of the test. Can I make it up next
A. Uh, no. But if you are really sick or your grandmother's funeral
is that day, lecture tests can be made up later. Lab tests cannot be
made up; there is extensive setup in the lab that cannot be redone.
Q. Will there be a Final Exam?
A. Of course. Read the Syllabus!
