Welcome to getting yelled at, booed, and all around under appreciated. One of the hardest jobs in the world is being a sports official. Those who take this step sometimes are met with some unexpected & frustrating momments, but if you can see the contributions you are making to the participants and the sport, the rewards are real. At LPC we provide you with an introductory experience to the world of officating through our intramural sports programs. Students can then take their career to greater heights through local clubs, schools, colleges, and even to the pro levels of involvement. The intramural activities generally occur at lunchtime on Mondays through Thursdays and at other selected times. Students can complete class hours through other venues, such as: youth soccer officiating on weekends, timing & scoring sporting events at local schools and rec departments, and various other activities.
