sophie.jpg (6838 bytes)I welcome you to our webpage.

Las Positas College is one of the few colleges in the region that has a fencing program. Our program has grown steadily each year in numbers and, most importantly, in enthusiasm.  I invite you to join us, whether you are a beginning fencer or a serious competitor needing extra practice. To be able to enroll in a fencing class you must be a registered student at Las Positas College.

In this sport, you can expect to be pushed to the limits of your physical and mental abilities, yet the exhilaration of the game keeps bringing you back. What may start out as a whim to satisfy a curious interest will soon become a captivating and challenging part of your life. Fencing is a world immersed in timeless traditions of honor and respect. As a fencer, you must work hard and be totally focused and commited. However, it is perfectly alright for you to have fun.

See you on the fencing strip!
